Where does my money go?
To Qur'ans and Islamic educational materials for madrasas, Qur'an memorization centers, and masjids in The Gambia. Our partner, the Gambia Supreme Islamic Council, sends us invoices from the vendors, and we pay those vendors directly. Our partners never handle the funds. See the full process.
Is it really about $3 per Qur'an?
Yes, about $3 per Qur'an is our current cost. Once our first order is invoiced, we'll publish the exact per-copy price on our transparency page.
Is my gift tax-deductible?

Can I give zakat or sadaqah?
Sadaqah, yes. For zakat, we're preparing a policy with qualified scholars and will only accept zakat, tracked separately, once it's published. Until then, please give zakat through an organization with an established zakat program.
How do I get a receipt or cancel a monthly gift?
Our payment processor emails a receipt as soon as your gift goes through, with a link to manage or cancel monthly giving. You can also email us and we'll take care of it.
